Key Responsibilities

• 
  Provide comprehensive ophthalmologic evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients.
• 
  Diagnose and manage common and complex ophthalmic conditions within the scope of a general ophthalmology practice.
• 
  Perform cataract surgery and other appropriate ophthalmic procedures.
• 
  Manage preoperative and postoperative care for surgical patients.
• 
  Maintain an approximately 80% clinical and 20% operating-room practice mix
• 
  Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs.
• 
  Utilize advanced ophthalmic diagnostic and surgical technologies.

  Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment alternatives, procedures, recovery, and ongoing eye health.

Required Qualifications

• 
  Doctor of Medicine ( MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine ( DO) degree.
• 
  Successful completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency program.
• 
  Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.
• 
  Current California physician licensure or eligibility to obtain California licensure.
• 
  Demonstrated competency in comprehensive/general ophthalmology.
• 
  Training and clinical competency in cataract surgery.
• 
  Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making capabilities.
• 
  Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
•

HireNow Package

Compensation: $385,000–$435,000

Long-Term Earnings: Potential to reach approximately $480,000 over time based on the provided compensation structure.

Sign-On Incentive: $220,000

Housing Assistance: Up to $250,000, with interest paid for 10 years under the provided program.

Combined Recruitment Incentives: Potential approaching $470,000 between sign-on and housing assistance.

Student Loan Benefit: PSLF eligible

Performance Incentives: Annual performance incentives with potential bonuses exceeding $20,000 with experience.
