We are looking for a Component Engineer (Engineering Services - Bogie) with 6-10 years of experience.

The Component Engineer in Engineering Services team will provide engineering expertise and lifecycle support for railway bogie systems across locomotives, mainline, and metro platforms. The role focuses on technical analysis, requirement management, reliability improvement, maintenance engineering, RAMS assessments, and lifecycle cost optimization. The engineer will work closely with design, validation, manufacturing, maintenance, and project teams to enhance product performance, maintainability, and operational efficiency throughout the product lifecycle.

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 6–10 years of progressive experience in the railway domain, specifically in bogies of locomotives, mainline rolling stock, and metro vehicles.
  • Deep knowledge of railway bogie architecture, functions, interfaces, and performance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of Requirement Engineering, including requirement management and traceability.
  • Hands-on experience with RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability & Safety) methodologies and analyses.
  • Good understanding of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) principles and optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with railway maintenance standards, engineering procedures, and diagnostic tools.
  • Experience in technical problem-solving, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement programs.
  • Ability to interpret engineering specifications, standards, calculations, and technical drawings.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
