Job Description

  1. Non-Employed Research Staff Onboarding (NERS)
  • Receive applications and review for completeness
  • If incomplete, respond to applicant/supervisor
  • If complete, categorize based on level of access (four types)
  • Create folder following department naming convention and save application and supporting documents to folder
  • Enter applicant information in NERS Database and mark as Pending o Create LMS account for applicant and assign learnings based on applicant category
  • Create username and access request in IT Hub o For patient contact applicants, create ticket for DHS Background Check processing and email UOHS for immunization verification

2. Compiling metrics for Compliance Committee and quarterly reports

  • Contact stakeholders to obtain data on a monthly or quarterly basis
  • Populate spreadsheet in Excel or create graphs using Microsoft tools to represent research compliance activity

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • No prior experience is required; full training will be provided.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with onboarding, offboarding, and contract processing workflows.
