Purpose

Serve as a key point of contact for ethics and compliance due diligence on third-party business partners globally (with a potential regional focus e.g. Americas), providing guidance and support to key functional stakeholders and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive, risk-based assessments of prospective third parties prior to establishing business relationships across multiple jurisdictions, including high-risk regions.
  • Analyze ethics and compliance risks such as bribery, corruption, money laundering, modern slavery, sanctions, and other unethical practices, tailoring the approach to the nature of each relationship, transaction and country-specific risk factors.
  • Develop and communicate effective risk mitigation strategies based on identified risks and monitor implementation to ensure compliance.
  • Perform periodic due diligence or re-assessments of existing third parties to identify emerging issues, revise and enhance existing outcomes and mitigation plans, as needed to address new or evolving risks effectively.
  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver compliance training and workshops tailored to high-risk functions, key operational stakeholders, and leadership. Ensure content promotes ethical conduct, adherence to standards, and confidential reporting of concerns.
  • Deliver timely updates to support management reporting, including due diligence metrics, key risk insights, trend analysis, regional developments, and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Accounting or similar fields.
  • 6 to 9 years of experience in ethics and corporate compliance.
  • Mandatory proficiency in English, with outstanding writing skills for drafting due diligence reports, mitigation plans, guidance notes, policies, SOPs and other compliance documentation.
  • Proven ability to assess and manage third-party risks effectively, ensuring adherence to organizational compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of global compliance frameworks, applicable laws and regulations including anti-bribery laws (e.g. FCPA and UK Bribery Act) and local legislation related to SAGRILAFT and PTEE, international guidelines, standards, codes of conduct, and key trends in the compliance space.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively within a global team, prioritizing tasks with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with exceptional attention to detail and analytical capability.
  • Strong commitment to uphold organization’s code of conduct, core values and ethical standards across all operations.
  • As set by the Chief Compliance Officer in annual compliance program.
