The Role:

As the Technical Services Compliance Specialist reporting to the Technical Services Manager you will Lead weekly Compliance Topics Forum to research, assess, and facilitate resolution of compliance activities (i.e. Risk Assessments, Notifications, etc.). You will serve as a compliance resource for the TS Audit Team (i.e. Lab, API MFR, RSPO, OTC Stability Chamber, etc...) You will maintain relationship with internal (RA/Safety) and external pan-regional compliance resources (consultants, etc...). You will provide back-up for the preparation & management of OTC stability study samples, testing & reporting.

What you will do:

  • Provides support managing systems for compliance activities (coordinate pan-regional GMP registration and site licensing with applicable regulatory agencies, manage GMP license renewal calendar, facilitate compliance-related invoicing across various company legal entity's, etc...).
  • Provide compliance support to Quality Management Team (research GMP Registration pathways for business expansion and product acquisitions, support 3rd party MFR's and/or testing facilities for gathering GMP evidence).
  • Provide agile response to compliance issues (critical product troubles, address urgent Regulatory Agency directives, etc...).
  • Maintain SME in compliance related activities (monitor compliance forums, publications, and notification websites, attend trade industry organization meetings, obtain necessary training).
  • Curate agenda for Compliance Topics of Interest forum and act as the Quality Management liaison to the QM/RA forum for discussing cross functional issues.
  • Responsible for stability protocol development, placement/pulling of stability samples from storage and providing samples for analytical testing.

What you will need:

  • Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Microbiology or related disciplines.
  • 3+ yrs general industry experience.
  • 1+ years related compliance experience (participating in Audits, responsible for compliance systems, etc...).
  • Excellent Organizational Skills/attention to detail.
  • Basic Compliance Knowledge.
  • Adept in ability to research and comprehend compliance related resources.
  • Basic SAP & PLM Knowledge preferred.
