We need a Compliance Specialist that will provide operational support to the Compliance Department by combining Onboarding/KYC activities with first-level Investigations & Monitoring tasks. The role is designed as a development position to build strong compliance foundations and prepare future progression toward a Lead role.

Key activities

  • Conduct first-level controls on the day's operations (monitoring).
  • Triage and pre-qualify alerts from detection tools before in-depth analysis.
  • Prepare the necessary documentation for investigations conducted by the Compliance Lead of Financial Security (AML/CFT). • Extract and compile data useful for monitoring partner platforms.
  • Contribute to the drafting of suspicious transaction reports, under supervision.
  • Participate in the updating of monitoring tables and activity reports.
  • Collect and verify supporting documents for onboarding files (customers, sub-agents). • Conduct first-level KYC checks (administrative identity, address, beneficial owners).
  • Populate and maintain the KYC file tracking database.
  • dentify incomplete or anomalous files and report them.
  • Participate in sub-agent compliance reviews.

Requirements

Education and experience

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Audit, Control, Statistics/Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years in control or compliance department.

Knowledge

  • Rigor and ability to analyse data.
  • Proficiency in use a spreadsheet programme, as well as Excel and Power BI, and be familiar with Power Query and DAX formulas.

People skills

  • Discretion and curiosity.
  • Ability to work under supervision.
  • Want to learn the compliance business.
