Job Description

The Compliance Specialistis r esponsible formanaging compliance and payroll processes for construction projects, ensuring trade partner adherence to regulatory and wage requirements.Overseesproject setup, compliance tracking, and reporting, whileidentifyingand resolving non-compliance issues. Provides education, mentoring, and onboarding for trade partners and project teams, and collaborates with internal departments tomaintainaccuraterecords, mitigate risks, and ensure regulatory compliance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Experience with compliance tracking, payroll audits,orregulatory reporting in construction or related industries

  • Proficiencyin compliance software for data management and reporting

  • Understandingofwage compliance, socio-economic programs, and trade partner regulations

  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and manage trade partners and project teams

  • Ability to analyze data,identifyissues,interpret compliance requirements,and implement corrective actions with attention to detail

  • Persistenceand professionalismin managing challenging or non-compliant trade partners

  • Experience coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure regulatory compliance andaccuraterecordkeeping

  • Knowledge of construction compliance requirements such as prevailing wage, Davis-Bacon,andcertified payroll

TECHNICAL JOB KNOWLEDGE:

  • Compliance Management

  • Set up projectaccounts, invite trade partners, and track weekly compliance through LCP Tracker andorother compliance software

  • Ensure posting requirements and regulatory standards are consistently met

  • Identifynon-compliance issues,determineremedies, andmaintainaccuraterecordkeeping

  • Collaborate with the legal department on compliance discrepancies,regulatory updates, and contract language

  • Payroll Reporting+ Workforce Development

  • Receive, review, and audit weekly payroll reports from trade partners, communicating discrepancies to relevantstakeholders

  • Coordinate with clients and trade partners tosubmitinitial,periodic, and finalcompliance reports

  • Generate quarterly reportsfor relevant compliance requirementsandassistteams withanalyzing trade partner inclusion/exclusion for compliance requirements

  • Utilize Excel and other tools tomaintaindata accuracy for weekly and periodic reporting

  • Reviews owner’s contract language todeterminegood-faith efforts and/or workforce development requirements

  • Attend industry events such as trade partner fairs, hiring events,andeducational courses

  • Risk Management & Problem Solving

  • Manage delinquent or challenging trade partners with persistence and professionalism

  • Leadproject ComplianceKickoffMeetings and provide guidance to project teams to mitigate risks

  • Education & Mentoring

  • Develop and present wage compliance and socio-economic education programs

  • Mentor and educate trade partners, project team members, and department colleagues on compliance regulations and project requirements

  • Participate in onboarding new trade partners and communication ofwage assurance expectations

  • Collaboration & Team Support

  • Assistproject teams in interpreting compliance requirements and ensuring trade partner adherence

  • Serve as a point of contact for compliance questions and guidance across departments

  • Ensuresthe projectteam is aware ofrelevantwage scales, jurisdictional compliance requirements, and contract language supportstheproject'sneeds

The base salary (or hourly) range for this position is

$74,500.00 - $95,000.00
