Citycare Property will soon partner with the New Zealand Defence Force Facilities Management Services to provide essential facilities, maintenance, and infrastructure services across camps and bases throughout Aotearoa.
Join us in the role of Compliance & Services Lead (Building & Environmental), Linton Military Camp to support the environments that enable NZDF personnel to focus on protecting and serving New Zealand communities.
Linton Military Camp is the NZ Army’s largest camp, located just south of Palmerston North, and is a major hub for engineers, logistics, infantry, armour, and a wide range of Army capabilities.

What You’ll Be Doing | Ngā Kawenga Takohanga
• Providing organisational leadership and oversight across building inspections, regulatory compliance, and quality management to ensure statutory, regulatory, and organisational standards are consistently met.
• Taking responsibility for all Building Warrants of Fitness (BWOF), site environmental compliance, and ensuring related regulatory obligations of projects or operational activities are met.
• Ensures all environmental, BWOF, quality, non-conformances are logged, investigated, and resolved effectively by the team.
• Overseeing environmental impact assessments prepared by the team to ensure accuracy and compliance with regional and district plan requirements.
• Approving project scopes, cost estimates, and environmental specifications prepared by the team, ensuring environmental considerations are appropriately reflected in budgets and schedules.
• Leading compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental management standards.
• Positively managing relationships with all NZDF stakeholders, suppliers and partners.
What We’re Looking For| Ā Mātou e Rapu Ana:
• A relevant qualification in environmental science, environmental management, or a related discipline.
• Experience working with, or overseeing compliance with, resource consent conditions.
• Experience preparing, reviewing, or contributing to compliance documentation, reports, or audit evidence.
• Strong capability in proactively managing positive stakeholder relationships.
• Absolute alignment with Citycare Property values.
• The legal right to work in Aotearoa, ability to pass a drug and alcohol test and willingness to consent to a Criminal Record Check
• Ability to meet NZDF specific security requirements
