Job Description

Enterprise Compliance Office - Optimization

Enterprise Compliance Office – Optimization (ECO – Optimization) modernizes the Compliance target operating model across people, process, and technology, accelerating the division's transition to an AI-forward workforce.

We identify and prioritize opportunities, develop and execute business-specific solutions, and manage delivery to measurable results — driving product and process efficiencies, risk recalibration, and cultural innovation. Our AI and innovation strategy spans governance and risk, optimization capability and scale, and culture and upskilling.

Where you fit in: As Analyst in ECO-Optimization, you will focus primarily in our AI and innovation strategy while supporting broader process optimization, product delivery and program management efforts as priorities evolve. Alongside colleagues and stakeholders across regions, you will learn how large-scale change is identified, designed, delivered and measured.

RESPONSIBILITIES

AI & Innovation Strategy Support

  • Identify Opportunities: Partner with compliance officers to identify operational processes that would benefit from AI and automation solutions.
  • Solution Delivery: Support the implementation of selected AI solutions from concept through configuration, testing, and operationalization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal AI engineering and product communities to identify scalable opportunities across the division.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Build data collection frameworks, run the reporting cadence, and flag trends or anomalies on critical AI adoption metrics.
  • Market Intelligence: Benchmark industry AI practices, tooling, and regulatory changes; distill findings into short briefings on what to pilot, watch, or ignore.
  • Roadmap Input: Help articulate Compliance-specific requirements for prioritization in firmwide AI tool roadmaps.
  • Knowledge Management: Curate and maintain Compliance AI knowledge repositories to ensure easy user access to the latest information and learning tools.
  • Upskilling & Training: Support the role-relevant AI training curriculum and future skills assessments; serve as an approachable first point of contact for colleagues experimenting with AI.
  • Engagement Initiatives: Develop ideas and help execute high-impact recognition initiatives (e.g., Prompt-a-thons, Innovation Awards).

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Engineering/Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience in Product Management, Project/Program Management, or Management Consulting (highly motivated recent graduates will also be considered).
  • Location: Salt Lake City, Utah (on-site).
  • AI Interest: Demonstrable interest in AI and automation, with an appetite to build hands-on fluency with end-user AI tools and prompt design.
  • Technical Skills: Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, with the ability to produce clear, executive-ready materials.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate with impact (written and verbal), tailoring messaging to engineering teams, end users, and senior leadership.
  • Execution: Exceptional time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to coordinate concurrent activities.
  • Agility: Flexibility to move between workstreams as priorities shift; comfortable being deployed where the need is greatest.
  • Mindset: Persistent, resourceful, and a tenacious self-starter with intellectual curiosity and strong critical thinking skills under pressure.
  • Collaboration: Ability to cultivate long-term relationships, build consensus, and influence without direct authority.

Preferred

  • Hands-on exposure to AI or automation tools (e.g., prompt engineering, machine learning applications, Alteryx).
  • Awareness of AI governance, model risk, or emerging AI regulations (e.g., the EU AI Act).
  • Exposure to process improvement, re-engineering, or process mapping.
  • Experience contributing to business cases, benefits analyses, or ROI articulation.
  • Experience with agile project delivery methods and tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Data analysis and visualization experience.
  • Working knowledge of financial markets, products, and control/risk functions.
