About the role
BURN is looking for a Compliance & Recovery Coordinator to oversee field recovery operations, ensure adherence to compliance standards, and drive portfolio performance. The role involves coordinating recovery activities, monitoring agent productivity, analyzing data to identify risks, and implementing strategies to improve collections and asset utilization across the business.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor all field recovery and compliance visits to ensure effectiveness.
  • Analyze portfolio performance trends and recommend actions to improve collections and Usage.
  • Prepare and validate field visit budgets based on performance outcomes.
  • Analyze portfolio and field visit performance trends and flag risks.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly recovery & Usage performance reports.
  • Monitor productivity and performance of compliance & Recovery agents and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure all field recovery activities comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct quality assurance through call-back and In-Person verification of customer visits.
  • Identify operational gaps and recommend resource allocation, recruitment, or restructuring.
  • Support the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks for recovery activities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of recovery activities, usage activities and repossessions in company systems.
  • Monitor repossession activities to ensure adherence to approved guidelines and targets.
  • Coordinate with logistics, sales, and credit teams to ensure proper tracking and reconciliation of repossessed assets.
  • Support investigations of complex or high-risk accounts and fraud suspects.
  • Advise business teams on portfolio and usage risks and recommend corrective recovery strategies.
  • Promote strong compliance and credit discipline culture across field operations.
  • Coordinate write-offs, repossession tracking, fraud investigations, and customer payment and usage initiatives.
  • Implement maker-checker controls for visits, repossessions, and quality assurance.
Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 2–4 years’ experience in credit, collections, recovery, or compliance operations
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Experience managing field teams or coordinating field operations is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of credit risk management, collections strategies, and compliance frameworks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reporting tools
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
