What You'll Do:

The Compliance Quality Assurance Specialist reviews the Admission Advisor/Representative and Financial Aid Officer interactions with students. The Compliance Quality Assurance Specialist partners with the admissions and finance teams to ensure students receive accurate information that meets all College policy, accreditation standards, state regulations, and the Department of Education requirements.

  • Conduct call reviews of Financial Aid Officer student calls and drawing on own knowledge and experience of regulatory requirements, identify and highlight areas of risk.
  • Conduct call reviews of Admission Advisor/Representative student calls and drawing on own knowledge and experience of regulatory requirements, identify and highlight areas of risk.
  • Compose correspondence, both routine and for special circumstances, as deemed needed by the department and direct supervisor.
  • Interpret and provide subject matter expertise on policies in college catalog(s),internal policies, and when needed.
  • Contribute significantly to the ongoing accreditation of the College through ensuring strict adherence to company policies, accreditation standards, state regulations, and Department of Education requirements through interpretation, subject matter expertise, and independent research.
  • Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality.
  • Complete 100% of scheduled monthly quality call reviews.
  • Assists with special projects, cross-functional initiatives, and additional responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Report on call review audits to direct supervisor, monthly.
  • Contribute to the team culture in a positive manner.

What We Need From You:

To perform this job successfully, an applicant must have professional demeanor, the ability to work independently, understand goals and deadlines and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Associates degree from an accredited institution or equivalent skills and experience is required. Equivalent skills and experience is generally five years’ experience in Higher Education in a student facing admissions or financial aid department.
  • Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Share point, Teams).
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • Strong listening skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Experience in the customer service required.
  • High sensitivity to the confidential nature of the work.
  • Previous experience working for a college or university required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team-player who can also work independently.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Strong Typing Skills

Preferred

  • Previous quality assurance call review experience preferred
