As our operations continue to grow, we are currently looking for a talented and motivated professional to join our team as: Compliance Officer for our Intra-Group Compliance Management Division

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Communicate and follow up with the Compliance of the Bank’s entities to ensure that appropriate Compliance reports are carried out and issues are followed up and resolved
  • Participate in the oversight on the Bank’s branches in terms of the governance such as proper organization of Compliance Committee etc.
  • Support the branches as necessary in the implementation of Head Office projects and requests, which include the ERA/IRA, connected party transaction etc.
  • Gives support to Head of the division and CCO in Compliance matters
  • Review and support the Bank’s cross-border entities in terms of external requests relating to AML/sanction matters to mitigate the risks
  • Participate in the on-site inspection of the BOC Europe entities as required.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Legal, Finance, Law, Management or a related field.
  • More than 2 years of working experience in compliance or in regulatory fields in the financial sector or in consulting.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese.
  • Knowledge on AML requirements.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Quality focused, with attention to details
  • Committed, self-motivated and with good work ethic.

Compensation: The remuneration for this position will be determined based on the requirements and responsibilities of the role, as well as the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience. Further information on the applicable salary range will be provided during the recruitment process.
