Job Description

Purpose of the Job

To support the Compliance team in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and ethical standards through day-to-day compliance tasks, data gathering, research, and process support. The role also aims to contribute to the improvement and automation of compliance operations while building foundational knowledge in the field.

  • Develop a foundational understanding of compliance and ethics topics, including but not limited to anti-bribery, anti-money laundering, sanctions, and data privacy.
  • Perform basic compliance-related tasks with supervision and gradually take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Assist in day-to-day compliance activities such as customer/vendor screening and internal checks.
  • Support the gathering, organizing, and analysis of compliance-related data for reviews and reporting.
  • Conduct basic research on regulatory topics and internal policies to support compliance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper implementation of compliance procedures.
  • Support automation efforts and demonstrate willingness to work with technology tools to improve compliance processes; familiarity or interest in compliance platforms or workflow automation tools is a plus
  • Help maintain and update compliance dashboards, trackers, or digital tools as needed.

Job Requirements - Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Law, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in compliance, risk management, internal audit, or related fields.
  • Strong interest in regulatory compliance, ethics, and corporate governance.
  • Basic understanding of international compliance standards (e.g., AML, sanctions, anti-bribery) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity or hands-on experience with technology tools, data handling, or digital transformation initiatives is a plus.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of automation tools or compliance systems is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the compliance function.
