Job Description

• Assist to track changes in the internal and external environment and revise the monitoring and testing program to suit these changes.
• Assist to provide the compliance team with guidance during risk assessment processes and state of compliance reporting.
• Assist to identify and propose changes to enhance the current compliance processes and controls.
• Assist to prepare reports or presentations for senior management in relation to Compliance Monitoring related matters.
• Proactively engage with relevant colleagues within the CIMB Group to understand and adopt industry best practices in executing compliance reviews business units.
• Maintain an understanding of business operations and regulatory guidance and expectations.
• Work collaboratively across groups and with other risk management teams.
• Assist to analyse data arising from Audit and Compliance Reviews to identify hot spots
• Support the Head of Department and stakeholders to achieve CIMB Group’s overall business and strategic objectives.
• Champion the collaboration and facilitate with other business units across the region by sharing best practices and business opportunities.
• Be a role model and drive activities to encourage and build desired organisational culture, values and reputation in the Group with all staff, customers and regulatory/official bodies.
• Drive data analytics solutions for detection and management of Compliance gaps.
• Perform data modelling responsibilities such as data preparation, data extraction, develop and execute models for compliance review testing purposes.
• Any other responsibilities/task as assigned by management from time to time.
