Role Purpose

The Compliance Officer – Maintenance will be responsible for ensuring that both new and existing healthcare professional files meet the required UK healthcare compliance standards.

The role will involve clearing new candidate files as well as maintaining the compliance of current active files, ensuring that all required documentation, checks, registrations, and renewals remain accurate, complete, and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

• Clear new candidate files by completing the required compliance checks and ensuring all mandatory documentation and requirements are met before candidates are cleared.
• Maintain current active candidate files by ensuring ongoing compliance requirements are completed within the required timelines.
• Manage the ongoing compliance and maintenance requirements for existing healthcare professionals.
• Monitor expiry and renewal dates for registrations, certifications, documents, and other compliance requirements.
• Ensure all candidate compliance records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
• Conduct regular reviews of candidate files to identify missing, expired, or outstanding documentation.
• Follow up with candidates to obtain updated documents and information within required timelines.
• Complete relevant compliance checks and verification processes as required.
• Ensure candidates remain compliant with UK healthcare regulatory and client-specific requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems promptly.

Relevant Experience

• Previous experience in UK Healthcare Compliance, Compliance Maintenance, Registration, or a similar role is required.
• Experience working with UK healthcare professionals and compliance documentation is highly preferred.
• Experience in both new file clearance and ongoing maintenance of active candidate files.
• Strong understanding of UK healthcare compliance requirements.
• Experience managing candidate files, renewals, audits, and compliance checks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or missing information.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet compliance deadlines.
• Freshers are not preferred for this role.
