ABOUT THE POSITION
Kreditz is looking for a Compliance Officer who wants to play a key role in helping shape compliance within a fast-growing fintech company.
We build advanced financial data infrastructure that enables lenders and financial institutions to make better credit decisions. Our platform combines open banking, financial data analytics, and machine learning to deliver deeper insights into consumers’ financial behaviour.
As a licensed Account Information Service Provider (AISP) operating under PSD2 and supervised by Finansinspektionen, compliance is a central part of our business. You will work closely with Legal, Risk, Product, and Engineering to ensure regulatory requirements are embedded across our operations and products.

RESPONSIBILITES
In this role, you will:
Play a key role in maintaining and developing Kreditz’s compliance framework
Monitor regulatory developments affecting payment services, financial data access, and fintech regulation
Conduct regulatory risk assessments and gap analyses
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of internal compliance controls and policies
Perform compliance monitoring and internal reviews
Provide regulatory guidance to product, engineering, and commercial teams
Support regulatory reporting and documentation
Contribute to interactions with supervisory authorities where relevant

WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone who combines regulatory understanding with practical implementation experience with approx. 5+ years of experience.
You likely have experience from a fintech, payment institution, financial services company, consulting firm, or regulatory authority.
You should have:
Have a law degree
Practical experience with relevant financial regulations (e.g. PSD2, DORA, GDPR, AI Act, AML/CTF and upcoming EU frameworks such as PSD3/PSR, FiDA and CCD2)
Experience implementing compliance frameworks, internal controls, and regulatory policies in a regulated financial services environment
Experience conducting risk assessments, regulatory gap analyses, or internal compliance monitoring
Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical processes and controls
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
Fluency in Swedish and English
Reside in Sweden
It is considered a plus if you also have:
Experience interacting with regulatory authorities (e.g. Finansinspektionen or other EU regulators)
Experience from payments, open banking, fintech, or financial data infrastructure
Experience working closely with product and engineering teams
