Our Clients & Operations team serves the investment fund industry and supports our clients in the tax administration of their investment funds across the globe by providing operational assistance, reporting services and project coordination.

We are currently looking to expand our team and are in search of motivated and dynamic talents in the area of transfer agency and fund accounting, of which a Compliance Manager with Investment Management / AIF Industry experience.

The Compliance Manager supports the Compliance Officer in overseeing and managing regulatory compliance risks, including the design, implementation and monitoring of compliance controls related to Deloitte’s activities and services to financial sector clients, with a particular focus on the investment management and AIF industry.

How you’ll contribute to our success

You will act as Compliance Manager for the Investment Management / AIF sector, supporting Deloitte in meeting all regulatory, legal and compliance requirements.

You will monitor and assess compliance risks, advise management on regulations, and help design and improve internal policies and procedures.

You will ensure our operations and products comply with Luxembourg laws and regulations and promote a proactive regulatory culture.

Beyond investment management / AIF topics, the role also covers ICT and operational resilience (including DORA) and compliance aspects of services Deloitte provides to financial sector clients.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the maintenance, development and amendment when necessary of the operational procedures, processes, tools and databases to ensure effective compliance, including the ones related to AML-CFT obligations;
  • Overseeing and ensuring that the delegated functions and the outsourced activities are managed in line with the Third-party risk management policy;
  • Supporting the maintenance, development and amendment when necessary of the Compliance Monitoring Plan, coordinating collection of information and perform reviews on controls defined within that Plan;
  • Communicating with teams to resolve issues related to compliance;
  • Assisting the Compliance Officer with control and reporting duties.
  • Managing the review of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws & regulations;
  • Assisting in responding to compliance queries from employees and external parties (e.g. auditors);
  • Managing all compliance aspects to ensure adherence to applicable legal and regulatory requirements and Deloitte Global standards.

Your skills

  • University Degree in Economics, Finance, Law or a similar subject.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in compliance, or risk management, within the alternative investment fund industry, preferably within a Luxembourg PSF, bank, Management Company/AIFM, or similar regulated entity.
  • Good knowledge of the Luxembourg investment fund regulatory framework, including UCI, AIFM and MIFID II regulations;
  • Good knowledge of the investment fund industry and related actors (fund administration, transfer agent, portfolio manager, distributor, custodian bank…);
  • Good knowledge of Luxembourg AML-CFT regulatory framework;
  • Prior exposure to ICT and operational resilience topics is a strong plus, and you should be keen to work on ICT‑ and resilience‑related compliance and risk;
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, effective stakeholder engagement, and a proactive, autonomous, hands-on working attitude.
  • High level of problem solving and strong analytical skills to assess risks and regulatory changes.
  • Ability to communicate complex regulatory concepts in a clear, concise and structured manner, both in writing and orally, to stakeholders at all levels (management, operational teams, regulators).
  • Proven ability to translate compliance requirements into business‑oriented guidance, acting as a trusted partner to the business.
  • Strong written communication skills for clear controls documentation and executive risk reporting, proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in English. French and German are considered as an asset
