The Position

Support company’s comprehensive compliance program and ensure company’s operations compliance with Roche Group Code of Conduct, local laws, medical device / healthcare industry code and company’s guidelines.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities :

  • Set up and/or update company’s guidelines and SOPs to ensure compliance with Roche Group Code of Conduct, global policies, relevant local and international laws, industry code and HCP Guideline;

  • Conduct compliance training with tailored training materials to various audience group, e.g. general staff, Sales Rep., people leaders, talents, distributors, and vendors etc.;

  • Apply Roche compliance tools to identify, monitor and mitigate compliance risks;

  • Conduct investigation of alleged non-compliance case;

  • Conduct random invoice check and on spot check of HCP events together with other supporting functions;

  • Based on audit / investigation findings or on-site check findings, identify process or business control improvement opportunities, initiate improvement opportunity discussion with stakeholders and/or process owners and follow up;

  • Create documentation system to record company’s compliance efforts;

  • Initiate and support company’s Compliance Board Meetings;

  • Study latest compliance legislations / compliance cases, especially those in healthcare industry, under China Law, FCPA, UK Anti-bribery Act etc. and provide advice to improve company’s comprehensive compliance program;

  • Establish, update and optimize company’s compliance process;

  • Other projects or tasks assigned by line manager

  • Conduct business in full compliance including but not limited to Roche Secure, Roche Behavior in Business, Roche Competition Law Interactive Dialogues, Roche Safety, Security Health and Environmental Protection

  • Understand and fulfill the responsibility of line manager's SHE tasks and duties (as defined in SHE handbook)

Education& Qualifications:

  • University degree or above with a major in law / Fin. / Economics

  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English

  • Good command of MS office software application

  • High integrity

  • International exposure, strong business acumen, pragmatic, ability to develop and maintain a network across multiple levels within the local and global organization

  • Self-motivated, clear thinker, good communicator, excellent team player and ability to work independently under pressure

Experience:

7+ year experience in recognized law firm, accounting firm, multinational company’s legal, compliance or internal audit function with strong interest in compliance, relevant experience in healthcare industry being a must.
