The Role

We are looking for a Compliance Manager to take full ownership of Okoora’s compliance function operationally and regulatorily.

This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role. You will not manage a team. You will run the function.

You will be responsible for executing all day-to-day compliance activities while serving as the company’s Compliance Officer.

This role is critical to ensuring that Okoora operates at a high standard of regulatory discipline while maintaining speed and efficiency in a high-growth environment.

What You Will Own

  • End-to-end ownership of customer onboarding (KYC / KYB)
  • Continuous transaction monitoring and alert investigation
  • Full responsibility for regulatory reporting, including suspicious activity reports
  • Ongoing compliance with Israeli regulatory requirements
  • Maintenance and enforcement of internal compliance procedures
  • Acting as Okoora’s official Compliance Officer מול regulators
  • Direct interaction with external compliance advisors, auditors, and regulators



Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in compliance within fintech, payments, or financial institutions
  • Proven hands-on experience with:
  • KYC / KYB processes
  • Transaction monitoring systems
  • Regulatory and suspicious activity reporting
  • Strong familiarity with Israeli regulatory frameworks
  • Ability to operate independently with full ownership and accountability
  • High attention to detail combined with strong decision-making ability
  • Capability to operate in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment
