
The Third‑Party Risk Management (TPRM) team at ASML is responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing risks related to all third parties ASML engages with globally, including customers, suppliers, and business partners. The team operates as part of ASML’s Legal & Compliance function and plays a key role in safeguarding responsible, compliant, and secure collaboration across the enterprise. Working closely with risk, legal, and technology stakeholders, the team continuously improves due diligence and screening processes, with a strong focus on automation and AI‑supported innovation. This internship offers hands‑on experience in a global, collaborative, and highly relevant risk management environment.
In this internship, you will support the team in executing and improving third‑party due diligence activities. You will combine analytical work, reporting tasks, and innovation‑focused contributions, including AI‑enabled improvements. You will work closely with compliance, legal, and risk specialists who will support your learning and development. Your work will contribute to more efficient, accurate, and future‑ready processes.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Support compliance and risk assessments for customers, suppliers, and other third parties
Assist with collecting, reviewing, and structuring due diligence information
Translate third‑party data into clear and structured insights for internal assessments
Contribute to drafting and structuring compliance and risk reports
Support the improvement of dashboards for reporting and program monitoring
Assist in exploring AI‑supported solutions to automate and improve processes
Proactively suggest improvements and take responsibility for assigned tasks within the team
This is a non‑thesis internship with a duration of minimum of 12 months, starting in early July 2026.
To be suitable for the internship, you:
Are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in compliance law, law and technology, law, or a related field
Have a strong interest in compliance, risk management, and technology‑driven innovation
Are proactive and comfortable taking responsibility within a supportive team environment
Have analytical skills and enjoy working with structured information and reporting
Communicate clearly in written and spoken English and enjoy collaborating with others
Other requirements you need to meet:
You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
You need to be located in the Netherlands to be perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
