The Consultant position for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) will support ERM process by reviewing member firm submissions, validating data accuracy, and ensuring compliance with ERM policies. The role includes conducting detailed analytics—leveraging AI tools—to identify key risks, emerging risks, and insights across member firms. The position is responsible for preparing high‑quality reporting and presentations for senior leadership, risk owners, and regional risk management teams. The role will also contribute to horizon‑scanning activities and scenario analysis to assess potential impacts of emerging risks on the network. Additionally, the role will perform testing and validation of information in ERM tools to ensure accuracy following tool updates or enhancements.

The Consultant will be responsible for delivering high quality output and work independently with minimal supervision. The role will require multi-tasking and managing changing priorities

Roles & responsibilities

Member firm ERM (Enterprise Risk Management) process

•Assist with control documentation, updating material to be shared with control testers, updating trackers•Review Member firm submissions in the KPMG ERM Process Tool (‘Tool’) for compliance with Policy (Mandatory risks, emerging risks, confirmation of senior leadership involvement)•Validate information in the Tool leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI). Validate that the information in the aggregated reports reconciles with member firm submissions. Validate that heatmaps accurately reflect information from member firm submissions.••Conduct analytics and insights of member firm submissions.­Review submissions relative to other insights (e.g., CRA) to identify instances where further challenge may be warranted in member firm assessments of their risks and/or missing risks (leveraging horizon scanning activities / insights).­Analyze risk responses leveraging AI (compare across MFs, determine what types of activities should be in place to address the respective risk, etc.)­Conduct analytics on member firm ERM submissions (leveraging AI) to identify top risks, top emerging risks, etc.•Develop reporting­Draft MF submission summaries for Regional Risk Management Partners, Directors (RRMP-Ds) (leveraging AI)­Develop decks for risk owners (i.e., PPT decks for risk owners with relevant member firm information relative to other insights)

­Develop decks for various leadership reporting (e.g., Leadership Team, GMT, Steering Group, etc.)•KERMPT Testing- Review, test and validate information in the Tool following various updates and enhancements to the Tool and/or other applications on the platform

KPMG International ERM Process

•Review Redline submissions received relative to prior quarter to highlight changes (removal, modifications, additions, etc.)•Identify impact to risks based off of horizon scanning activities/insights

Horizon Scanning and Emerging Risk

•Conduct scenario analysis (leveraging AI) for emerging risks/events identified through the horizon scanning process, identifying possible impact to Network top risks, Impact to member firms•Assist in developing material/decks as needed to facilitate discussions with stakeholders on emerging risks•

Educational qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree (BBM / BBA / BCom) from an accredited college/university•Master’s degree (MBA/M.com) from an accredited college/university

Work experience

•4 to 6 years of relevant experience in areas such as Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Operational risks, Internal Audit and Compliance.

Mandatorytechnical & functional skills•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work on complex excel sheets to perform data analysis. Experience in preparing leadership level reporting•Experience with adopting AI/automation tools for improved delivery.•Experience in supporting organization wide risk management processes•Ability to multitask, adapt to dynamic environments, and manage changing priorities.•Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).•Experienced in working with global teams and stakeholders
