Tradewind Australia is seeking a Compliance Consultant to join our Education division in Melbourne.

The Compliance Consultant plays a crucial role in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies. This position involves working closely with various departments to assess, develop, implement, and monitor compliance standards. The Compliance Consultant serves as a subject matter expert on regulatory requirements, identifying risks, and recommending solutions to mitigate those risks. This role requires a deep understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices. The role also includes assisting with school bookings, handling candidate objections, passing on feedback, and supporting the CRT team, all while meeting activity and compliance activation targets.

Responsibilities:

Compliance Management

  • Screen and respond to applicants and prospects, qualify and verify for suitability, and refer candidates to relevant teams to book.
  • Ensure minimum compliance requirements are met for registering candidates.
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met for all candidates.
  • Keeping abreast of any compliance changes (Government, Registry bodies or Tradewind implemented) and revising processes as and when a need arises.
  • Conducting phone references as required.
  • Participating in compliance audits when required.

Candidate Management

  • Managing the candidate journey through the application process to activation.
  • Upon request, resource, headhunt and source candidates using all of the tools available aligned with team requirements and workforce demands.
  • Providing timely and constructive feedback to candidates during the recruitment process.
  • Developing relationships with candidates to create an enduring mutually beneficial relationship with the individual and their professional network.

Maintaining systems

  • Monitor and maintain up-to-date candidate records by running expiry reports and taking appropriate follow-up actions.
  • Ensure all communications and relevant information is updated in the CRM.
  • Maintaining any other related Tradewind systems in line with audit and regulatory standards.
  • Ad hoc projects as required.

  • Experience developing recruitment and/or sales strategies.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and ability to ensure legislative and regulatory compliance is met.
  • Familiarity with job boards, and HR software, databases, and management systems.

Allied health – Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Nurses

Corporate Services – Leadership, Management and Executive roles including CEO & CFO, Finance, Accountants, Accounts Payable/Receivable, IT, HR, Marketing, Lawyers
