Business Partner Compliance Specialist (Solventum)

Location: Mexico – Hybrid work model
Regional Scope: Latin America (including Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica and Brazil)

The Impact You’ll Make in This Role

As a Business Partner Compliance Specialist, you will be based in Mexico and provide regional Ethics & Compliance support across multiple Latin America countries, including Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica and Brazil. The position will report to the Compliance Manager located in Brazil, while working closely with local business teams, regional leadership and global Ethics & Compliance stakeholders.

In this role, you will make an impact by:

Supporting the implementation and execution of the Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Program across LATAM, through the development and deployment of:

  • Local and regional trainings
  • Policies and guidance
  • Risk assessments
  • Compliance Ambassadors Program,
  • Onboarding and
  • Strategic compliance communications

Acting as a Compliance Business Partner to commercial and operational teams, advising on:

  • Interactions with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Healthcare Organizations (HCOs),
  • Industry and professional Codes of Conduct, and
  • Compliant engagement models across LATAM markets.
  • Conflicts of Interest
  • Sponsorships, grants, business courtesies and other commercial programs,
  • Pre‑approval processes and post‑activity monitoring.
  • Leading and supporting third‑party partner due diligence, including distributors, agents, event organizers and other business partners, and ensuring appropriate risk mitigation measures are implemented.
  • Supporting and coordinating compliance governance processes, ensuring leadership alignment, visibility into business strategies, and effective cascading of key compliance initiatives throughout the region.
  • Designing and delivering compliance training programs (live, virtual and on‑demand), tailored to different LATAM audiences and risk profiles.
  • Preparing and executing regional compliance communication strategies, ensuring clarity, consistency and alignment with global E&C guidance.
  • Monitoring compliance metrics, supporting investigations as required, and contributing to the development of remediation plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Serving as a primary point of contact for employees and business partners with compliance questions, providing guidance or directing them to appropriate resources.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role, Solventum requires:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience supporting the implementation, monitoring, maintenance and continuous improvement of ethics and compliance programs.
  • Proven experience working in the healthcare, medical devices or life sciences industry, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of applicable healthcare laws and regulations related to interactions with government officials, HCPs and HCOs, including the U.S. FCPA, Anti‑Kickback Statute, and relevant Latin America equivalents.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish. Portuguese highly desirable.

Additional Required Competencies

  • Demonstrated autonomy and confidence to operate independently in a complex, cross‑country environment, with strong project management and execution skills
  • Strong ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and across countries; capability to align diverse stakeholders to common compliance standards.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with systems such as Concur, Salesforce, SAP, Power BI, IA tools or similar platforms preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and prioritization abilities.
  • Self‑starter with a continuous improvement mindset and ability to operate effectively in complex, ambiguous environments.

Work location: Mexico

Travel: Up to 20% domestic and international (LATAM)

Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without the need for visa sponsorship.
