Job Description

As our newest BI Developer specialising in Compliance, you will serve as the technical backbone of our regulatory reporting and risk management teams. You will build both ad-hoc reports and automated processes to satisfy complex compliance requests. Utilising Google BigQuery, Tableau, and Python, you will ensure the compliance teams deliver reports on time while providing deep insights through interactive dashboards and automated alerts.

Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Reporting: Develop and automate recurring reports for Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Responsible Gaming (RG).
  • Dashboard Mastery: Design and maintain Tableau dashboards that enable compliance teams to monitor real-time risk alerts and player behaviour trends.
  • High-Stakes Ad-hoc Analysis: Execute rapid-response data requests for regulatory audits or internal investigations.
  • Data Modelling in BigQuery: Write sophisticated, high-performance SQL to aggregate complex datasets, ensuring data accuracy is flawless and audit-ready.
  • Risk Detection: Collaborate with Risk and AML officers to translate regulatory "red flags" into automated SQL-based logic and proactive alerts.

Requirements

About you:

  • Expert SQL Skills: Deep experience in writing complex queries (CTEs, window functions, and optimization).
  • Google BigQuery: Proven experience managing large-scale datasets and optimizing query costs within the GCP ecosystem. (Familiarity with Snowflake, Clickhouse, or similar is also considered).
  • Experience in BI Reporting Tools : Ability to create intuitive, drill-down dashboards that enable non-technical stakeholders to understand complex risk data. (Familiarity with Tableau is considered a plus).
  • Ad-hoc Reporting: Experience working in fast-paced environments where data must be extracted and validated quickly under pressure.
  • Teamwork & Communication: Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team, explaining technical findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
  • Fluent in English

And then some nice to haves:

  • Python Knowledge: Ability to use Python to automate repetitive reporting tasks and build custom alerting scripts.
  • Analytical Mindset: A strong background in data analysis to assist with deep-dive research and investigative requests.
  • Experience within the iGaming industry would be considered an asset
