Job Description


Reviews all compliance procedures required by the applicable regulators. Responsibilities include knowledge of all compliance procedures required by the Graton Resort & Casino's System of Internal Controls that are not performed as part of a daily audit.
 
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
2. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Graton Resort & Casino standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Review all compliance procedures required by the regulators and Graton Resort & Casino's System of Internal Controls that are not performed as part of a daily audit.
4. Supervise department and run reports. 
5. Prepare an audit checklist outlining and attesting to all required procedures.
6. Prepare/Review all exceptions for any errors found as a result of the audits.
7. Ensure that proper responses are received on all audit exceptions.
8. Ensure that Title 31 reports are filed within the required time periods.
9. Perform Title 31 training to ensure that Team Members are properly trained and understand all required procedures.
10. Update and maintain an exception schedule by Team Members to ensure that Team Members with repeated exceptions are identified and receive further training.
11. Assist department heads with training in problem area.
12. Responsible for communication with the Compliance Manager and Director of Compliance for correspondence with the Graton Tribal Gaming Commission.
13. Responsible for property record retention, including the maintenance of box logs and location of all boxes.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
2. Must have supervisory experience in the gaming industry dealing with regulations, audits, etc.
3. Basic understanding of accounting, gaming and regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to: Title 31 and Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS).
4. Must be at least 21 years of age.
 
Physical Requirements:
1. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
2. Must be able to sit for duration of shift.
3. Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
