The Role: Compliance Assistant
This role supports the company's onboarding process by ensuring all customer documentation and identity verification meet regulatory standards. You will act as a critical checkpoint when automated systems raise flags, manually reviewing documents and biometric data to confirm compliance. Your work will directly contribute to safeguarding the company and its users.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor onboarding activity via the mobile application
Conduct manual reviews of documents and facial scans flagged during KYC checks
Ensure all customer records are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory standards
Collaborate with the compliance and support teams to resolve onboarding issues
Escalate and report suspicious activity in line with internal protocols
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and compliance procedures
Work scheduled shifts including weekends and public holidays as required
About You
1-3 years of experience in a compliance, onboarding, or document verification role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Comfortable working within a shift-based schedule, including weekends
Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating mobile applications and back-end systems
Team-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity
Growth-minded, with a desire to contribute to a growing business and tight-knit team
