About the Role

Ironbark is seeking a Compliance Assistant to join our Workforce Australia team. This role supports our Compliance Officer and Employment Services team to ensure accuracy, data integrity and compliance with Workforce Australia guidelines. You will assist with performance monitoring and provide frontline support to Jobseekers preparing them for employment, and ensuring records are kept up to date. This role suits someone who is organised, detail focused and enjoys working across both compliance and client facing responsibilities.

What you will do

Day to day, the position involves working closely with the Compliance Officer and Employment Services team to review records, check claim documentation, assisting with performance monitoring, and prepare standard reports to ensure alignment with program requirements. You will update dashboards, maintain internal processes, and support Jobseekers by discussing their goals, helping with resumes, job matching and keeping accurate records. You’ll also support consistent processes across the team, and help ensure our sites meet Workforce Australia requirements.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in documentation and data.

• Experience working with compliance, administration, or record keeping (Workforce Australia experience is a bonus).

• Confidence using computer systems, databases, and Microsoft Office.

• Good communication skills and the ability to support both staff and Jobseekers in a professional and respectful manner.

• The ability to follow processes, meet deadlines, and stay organised in a fast paced environment.

• A proactive mindset with the confidence to ask questions, flag issues, and contribute to continuous improvement.
