
Rail Services Compliance and Risk Manager – Hybrid working option with travel across the businesses
Reporting to: ESG Director – Rail Services
Contract: Permanent
The Rail Services division supports our four business areas of Grand Central (GC) which is an open access train operator linking the North East and West Yorkshire with London, Arriva TrainCare (ATC) who are a rapidly growing train maintenance company, Arriva Road Transport Services (ARTS) who are the rail replacement operator within the Arriva Group and recently acquired RTS.
We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Arriva team as a Compliance and Risk Manager to help support our Rail Services Businesses. As a Compliance and Risk Manager you will lead the reporting, standardisation and coordination of compliance processes and risk controls for each of our businesses to ensure that we manage risk and compliance, consistently, effectively and efficiently across Rail Services. You will also undertake the role of Data Protection Champion across Rail Services.

The successful candidate must have a passion for continuous improvement and be a change agent who will be constantly looking for new and innovative ways of delivering the compliance agenda at Arriva. A willingness to travel and engage widely throughout the business will be an essential part of this role so we ensure that compliance remains embedded in the culture of Rail Services.
