Duties to Include:
• Lead and support the organization’s compliance program in alignment with HIPAA, CMS, and regulatory requirements
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely communication and implementation across the organization
• Oversee MIPS/QPP and other quality reporting initiatives, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
• Analyze clinical and operational data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
• Develop dashboards and performance reports for leadership and providers
• Partner with clinical, billing, coding, and operations teams to ensure regulatory compliance and documentation accuracy
• Conduct onsite compliance audits across multiple clinic locations, including workflow and documentation reviews
• Travel to clinic sites to assess compliance risks and provide training, education, and support
• Develop and implement corrective action plans and perform follow-up assessments
• Support compliance investigations and maintain appropriate documentation
• Serve as a liaison between clinical teams, leadership, and external regulatory bodies
• Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications Include:
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nursing, Health Information Management, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in compliance, clinical data management, quality reporting, or healthcare analytics
• Working knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations (HIPAA, CMS programs, MIPS/QPP)
• Experience with EMR systems and reporting tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively to clinical and non-clinical audiences
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with dashboards/data visualization preferred
• Dermatology or specialty practice experience preferred
• Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or similar credential preferred
