Primary Responsibilities:
Assisting with the implementation and management of compliance policies and procedures
Supporting the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of downstream partner oversight activities
Assisting the Compliance Manager with compliance education and training for independent agents
Maintaining effective business relationships with vendors, outside auditors and regulators, industry compliance teams and officers, and professional trade groups
Reviewing the company's consumer-facing website and marketing materials to ensure compliance
Completing miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Compliance Manager
Three or more years of experience in the compliance field
One or more years of auditing experience
Thorough knowledge of CMS and Medicare compliance practices and procedures.
Experience with IT, Security, and Privacy Policy based on federal (HIPAA, CMS, NIST), HITRUST, and various state requirements
Bachelor’s degree is preferred
Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or similar certification is preferred
