A Brief Overview

Responsible to assist with the development and ongoing maintenance of the compliance program. Facilitates internal audits to include collection, recording and analysis of data. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of additional development requests.

What you will do

  • Examine departmental policies, procedures, and practice to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Interpret changes in federal and state laws and regulations affecting the management and operations of the system including long term care and clinics.
  • Assist with the revision, development, and implementations of new and updated compliance guidelines, standards and procedures.
  • Support establishment's compliance-related programs, such as compliance training, compliance auditing and reporting, and standards education and development.
  • Represent facility at meetings and other forums to promote and explain compliance objectives.
  • Consult with and advises operating units and managers affected by accreditation issues and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize resources from Joint Commission, the government, business community and private organizations to resolve problems or gain necessary information.
  • Prepare reports, studies, and other publications relating to program trends.
  • Develop and complete compliance reviews within established time frame.
  • Review complaints, concerns, or questions relative to compliance issues within 15 days of receipt and provides support to entities as appropriate.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

  • Associate's or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Health care or clinical background

  • Bachelor's
