In this role, you'll:

Work as part of a team delivering expert financial and commercial advice on complex, high-value transactions across Transport for NSW. This role will see you support the structuring, negotiation, and execution of significant transactions, provide rigorous accounting and policy advice, and facilitate workshops to build organisational capability.

You will lead the development of accounting solutions, navigate regulatory and legislative requirements, and build strong stakeholder relationships in a high-pressure, multi-stakeholder environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.

About you

Your expertise in accounting standards, ability to prepare accounting position papers in a complex environment and resolve accounting issues will see you deliver robust, compliant, and practical solutions that optimise financial outcomes and support Transport for NSW’s strategic priorities.

You're recognised as strategic and analytical, skilled at interpreting complex financial arrangements, and experienced in providing advice on complex high-value transactions, advising senior executives, and ensuring compliance in sensitive government contexts and accounting standard requirements.
