Join Our Team as a Complex Care Nurse in Salisbury
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Complex Care Nurse to join our dedicated community healthcare team supporting children and adults with complex health needs in their own homes and community settings across Salisbury.
You will play a vital role in overseeing clinical care plans, supporting healthcare assistants, and ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered to every client.

Responsibilities
· Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments for clients with complex needs (e.g., tracheostomy, ventilation, PEG feeding, seizure management).
· Develop, review, and implement individualised care plans in line with best practice and CQC standards.
· Deliver hands-on clinical support to clients and provide clinical training to support staff in the community.
· Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including GPs, community nurses, therapists, and families.
· Monitor and audit care quality to ensure compliance with clinical governance and safeguarding policies.
Requirements
Essential:
· Registered Nurse with active NMC pin.
· Minimum 2 years of post-registration experience within a complex care, com-munity, or acute nursing setting.
· Proven experience in at least one of the following:
· Tracheostomy care
· Ventilation management
· PEG / enteral feeding
· Catheterisation and bowel management
· Seizure management and medication administration
· Experience in paediatric complex care (for children's caseloads).
· Previous experience working in a homecare or community nursing role.
· Strong leadership, risk assessment, and documentation skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Full UK driving license and own vehicle (required for community visits).
Desirable:
· Clinical training qualification or mentorship experience.
