What makes you remarkable?
- Providing training, guidance and mentoriship to team on all aspects of completing work in line with Wood and client procedures
- Ensures that Certification/Completions Scopes within Limit of System Handover (LOSH) are understood and communicated before starting work
- Oversees the arrangements for controlling, witnessing, recording and assessing the results of all initial energisation & 'set to work' tests which may affect safety to liaise with the Construction Team Leaders to ensure smooth hand over of systems/areas
- Drives, assures and monitors a proactive and balanced approach to safety (conventional and environmental) to ensure that safety is optimised during certification/completions activities
- Actively monitors completions/certification progress and performance and intervenes to avoid slippage
- Review and approval of test results and progress reports
- Ensuring activities are performed in accordance with the approved testing and completions/commissioning programme
- Discharging all Customer duties including the oversight and assurance of subcontractors and vendors engaged in completions/certification work activities
- Provide guidance to completions/certification planning process
- Carry out safety reviews / walk-rounds
- Carry out Customer Completions awareness sessions
- Provide advice and guidance in relation to Completions/Certification
- Maintain local processes and procedures, incorporating Lessons Learned
- Responsible for ensuring compliance to completions and/or certification procedures
- Expedites and assures the full mechanical completion of a system by construction prior to arranging handover activities to commissioning
- Records and monitors the close out of defects or deficiences within project scope
- Ensure management of recording and closing out of defects or deficiences within project scope
Knowledge, skills and experience:
- Extensive experience (typically a minimum of 8 years) in a certification and/or completions role, including experiece supervising and leading teams
- Ability to read relevant drawings eg P&ID’s, SLD’s, GA's , with excellent understanding of LOSH, and ability to teach others
- Expert knowledge of the certification and completions processes and associated software
- Experienced in the production of procedures and reports
- Experienced in the supervision/training of personnel and team working
- Excellent knowledge of projects and HSEQ safe working practices/ procedures
- Ability to carry out systemisation of projects
- Ability to demonstrate high level of understanding of HSE processes and procedures and their implementation
- Ability to work and deliver project milestones in a consistent and structured manner
