Freelance CompEx Consultant (Project Assignment)

CSMART is looking for a highly specialized CompEx-certified Consultant (freelance) for a temporary project-based assignment requiring expertise that is currently not available in-house.
In this assignment, you will combine hands-on technical expertise with strong instructional skills to independently deliver CompEx training and assessments for cruise ship officers working in hazardous areas.

Your assignment

  • Deliver a defined number of CompEx training courses based on business needs and your availability;

  • Conduct participant assessments and certifications in line with CompEx standards;
  • Deliver specialized training modules using your technical expertise;
  • Transfer knowledge to enable future in-house delivery of the training;
  • Ensure the quality of training delivered within the scope of the assignment and in line with industry standards.

Your expertise

  • Valid CompEx certifications (Foundation / Foundation+ / EX 01–04 – Instructor & Assessor);
  • 5+ years’ experience in hazardous areas;
  • Proven experience within the maritime sector (cruise experience is a plus);
  • Strong track record in delivering technical training and assessments;
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, instructional approach;
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
