We are now seeking a passionate and experienced Competitive Pathways Coordinator to help establish and lead this program across our Brisbane swim schools.
This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on coaching, swimmer development, pathway leadership and relationship building within one of Australia’s most respected aquatic organisations.
About Us:
“To Swim Well is an Asset for Life,” Forbes Carlile
At Carlile Swim, we believe every child should learn to swim well. As Australia’s leading swim school, we deliver millions of lessons each year across a growing national network, helping children become safer, more confident swimmers for life.
Founded by Forbes and Ursula Carlile, who pioneered the learn-to-swim industry in Australia, Carlile Swim has been shaping swimming for 80 years. We established Australia’s first commercial swim school, pioneered baby swimming and set the standard for teaching methods, innovation and an uncompromising commitment to child safety that continues today.
The Carlile Swim Team is currently the #1 age group team in Australia, and we want to continue helping young children transition from our swim schools to competitive swimming.
Carlile has produced multiple world record holders and more than 50 Australian representatives. Our first Olympic champion was crowned in 1952, with our latest success coming from Paris 2024. Forbes and Ursula are both in the International Swimming Hall of Fame. This role will help build on that legacy.
