Key Exciting Responsibilities

  • Operationalize Excellence: Move our competitive evaluation framework from high-level concept to standardized, world-class testing protocols

  • Orchestrate Global Testing: Synchronize specialized internal teams—from hardware to perception—ensuring diverse data streams feed into one powerful central framework.

  • Validate Performance: Plan and execute hands-on technical assessments of CTCT and competitive systems to prove real-world performance claims

  • Drive Strategic Insight: Distill complex technical findings into clear, persuasive narratives that guide executive leadership on where to focus development efforts

  • Own the Intelligence: Lead monthly cross-functional calls and govern the global competitive database to ensure our intelligence is always accurate and actionable

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Technical Mastery: You can confidently operate and troubleshoot machine control systems, GNSS hardware, and construction software

  • Collaborative Coordinator: You have a proven ability to align decentralized teams and drive reporting consistency without needing direct authority

  • Data Integrity Champion: You possess an impeccable eye for detail, ensuring every data point in our competitive database is precise

  • Prior experience in heavy civil construction or the machine control industry

    Deep domain expertise in 2D/3D grade control and onsite connectivity

About Caterpillar Trimble Control Technologies (CTCT)

The CTCT division (a joint venture between Trimble and Caterpillar) develops positioning, control, and automation products for earthmoving and paving machines in the construction and mining industries, using technologies such as GNSS, optical total stations, lasers, and sonics. The products are used in a range of applications where the operator of the machine benefits from having accurate horizontal and vertical guidance. Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.

$136,400.00–$187,500.00
