
POSITION: Compensatory Services for Extended School Year (ESY) Position
LOCATION: Pocahontas County High School
REPORTS TO: Head Principal and/or Assistant Principal
SALARY: Hourly rate of pay is $25.00 per hour, not to exceed 8 hours per week.
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: After-school program during the 2026-2027 school year. Specific schedule and duration are contingent upon student needs.
Position and schedule contingent upon student attendance, participation, and identified need.
To provide Extended School Year (ESY) services to eligible secondary students. Services are being provided outside of the traditional summer ESY period to address ESY services identified through the IEP process that were not provided during the summer months. The goal of the program is to implement transition, academic, behavioral, communication, and self-help instruction as outlined in the student's IEP and ESY plan.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as to read handwritten or typed material, the ability to adjust focus. The position requires the individual to meet multiple demands from several people and interact with the public and other staff members.
