Job Description

VAST Data is looking for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our fast-scaling company.

We’re hiring a Compensation & Benefits Specialist that will play a key part in supporting and implementing global benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive, scalable, and cost-effective, while fully aligned with the company’s rapid growth.

A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:

  • Support the implementation and ongoing management of global benefits programs, with a strong focus on the US market.
  • Work closely with HR and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of benefits programs across the organization.
  • Apply market benchmarks and best practices to ensure competitive yet cost-efficient benefits offerings.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining a high-quality employee experience.
  • Ensure full alignment and synchronization of benefits processes with employee lifecycle events, including onboarding, offboarding and vacation policy.
  • Partner with external vendors and brokers to manage and optimize benefits plans globally.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, with strong emphasis on US benefits requirements.

Requirements

What We’re Looking for

  • 3+ years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, preferably in a global high-tech company.
  • Proven experience supporting and implementing global benefits programs, with hands-on exposure to US benefits (advantage).
  • Strong understanding of benchmarking methodologies and cost management within benefits programs.
  • Experience working closely with HR teams on employee lifecycle processes.
  • Team-player with strong communication, customer service, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Hands-on and Detailed-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work proactively and independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Accuracy and attention to details and problem-solving skills; Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Builder mindset — self-starter with strong ethical standards and sound judgment, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • High analytical skills with strong Excel capabilities (HRIS Bamboo HR – advantage, NetSuite is a plus).
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
