Your Key Responsibilities

Primary responsilbiltity would be the U.S. 401(k) Plan:

    • Oversee all operational, compliance, and governance activities
    • Manage plan administration end-to-end, including:
      • Eligibility, enrollments & contributions
      • Perform routine audits & act as key resource in HRS/payroll and vendor testing
      • Collaborate with recordkeepers, financial advisors, HR teams, and payroll to resolve issues and improve plan operations
      • Respond to participant inquiries with clarity, empathy, and accuracy
      • Annual compliance testing (ADP/ACP, top-heavy, coverage, nondiscrimination)
      • Form 5500 preparation and coordination with auditors and service providers
    • Deliver and/or coordinate workshops, webinars, and written materials to improve financial literacy and retirement preparedness
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including ERISA, IRS, DOL, SECURE Act, etc.
    • Act as a key liaison with third-party administrators, recordkeepers, trustees, investment advisors, and legal counsel
    • Support the Retirement Committee by:
      • Preparing materials, reports, and analyses
      • Assisting with fiduciary governance, documentation, and review of meeting minutes
      • Supporting investment lineup monitoring and fee benchmarking
    • Oversee plan amendments, vendor changes, and major initiatives such as:
      • Plan redesigns
      • Mergers and acquisitions
      • System conversions
      • Regulatory or legislative changes
    • Drive continuous improvement in plan operations, participant experience, and risk management

Provide a support role for international Defined Contribution Plans ( Canada, Mexico and South America), as needed

      • Coordinate with local HR, payroll, finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate administration and compliance with local regulations
      • Assist with vendor oversight, data reviews, and operational issue resolution

Support the ongoing administration of frozen defined benefit plans in the United States and Canada

    • Coordinate with actuaries, administrators, and auditors on:
      • Annual valuations
      • Funding requirements
      • Regulatory filings
      • Participant inquiries related to frozen benefits

Your Qualifications

Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field
    • 3 - 5 years of progressive experience administering U.S. defined contribution retirement plans
    • Deep hands-on expertise with large, complex 401(k) plans (preferably $500M+ in assets)
    • Experience with benefits administration systems or recordkeeping platforms
    • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
    • Strong working knowledge of:
      • ERISA
      • IRS and DOL regulations
      • Compliance testing and Form 5500 filings
    • Proven experience working with plan committees and senior stakeholders
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple vendors and complex initiatives
    • External applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employment visa or other sponsorship

Preferred:

      • Experience supporting international defined contribution plans, particularly in Canada and/or Mexico
      • Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian defined benefit plans, including frozen plan administration and termination
      • Professional certifications such as CEBS, QPA, QKA, CRPS or CFA
      • Experience in a multinational or publicly traded organization
