Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP has an immediate opening for a Compensation Assistant to join its Winston-Salem, NC office. The Compensation Assistant ensures smooth execution of pay programs, supports HR operations, and helps maintain fairness and compliance in employee compensation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with developing job descriptions and determining the appropriate FLSA status.
• Maintain and update employee records related to compensation.
• Assist with conducting salary surveys and updating systems with survey data.
• Assist with compensation projects.
• Manage and maintain the compensation email box.
• Provide support in compensation-related issues such as pay inquiries, job evaluations, and salary adjustments.
• Perform other administrative related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a compensation assistant or similar role.
• Knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis processes.
• Experience with employment agreements and general HR knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software and databases.
• Strong attention to detail and oral and written communication skills.
• High School Diploma with 5 – 8 years in HR, payroll, or administrative support.
