Job Description

Find your purpose as a Compensation Analyst with CentraCare! The Compensation Analyst analyzes and supports compensation programs to ensure market competitiveness, internal equity, and regulatory compliance. This role blends analytical work with program execution and administration of compensation programs

Schedule:

  • Full-time 80 hours every 2 weeks
  • Mon-Fri Days (CST)
  • Fully remote

Pay and Benefits:

  • Starting pay begins at $68,952.00 per year and increases with experience.
  • Salary range: $68,952.00-$103,438.40 per year
    • Salary range is based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 years minimum of previous experience in HR, compensation or finance).
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills.
  • Understanding of compensation principles and best practices.
  • Ability to communicate clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficient with HRIS systems and Excel.
  • Experience with survey vendors and market pricing tools.

Core Functions:

  • Conduct market pricing and job evaluations using external survey data.
  • Analyze internal compensation data to identify trends, gaps, and risks.
  • Support design and administration of merit, technical adjustment and incentive programs.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to provide data and analysis that support compensation decisions related to hiring, promotions, and pay adjustments
  • Generate standard compensation reports and summaries in HR systems and tools such as Oracle and MarketPay.
  • Ensure compliance with wage and hour, pay equity, and other state and federal regulations as it relates to compensation policies and practices.
  • Contribute to documentation of compensation policies, processes, and guidelines
  • Participate in and complete external compensation surveys, including job matching, data validation, and submission.
  • Administer compensation transactions such as new hire offer recommendation, processing job changes, promotions, and salary adjustments.
  • Perform regular audits and maintain compensation data in HR System (Oracle) and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage the set-up, maintenance, and updates to job codes, and pay grade structure and ranges.
  • Respond to HRBP, employee and manager inquiries, via ServiceNow and email, regarding compensation policies, practices, and processes.
