We are seeking a well-organised legal or governance professional who is looking to broaden their career in a high-profile corporate environment.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you'll play an important role in supporting our Board, Executive team and global governance activities while helping drive improvements in the way we operate. You will contribute to initiatives that enhance governance effectiveness, improve information management and support high-quality decision-making across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

• Identify and implement opportunities to improve governance processes, including enhancing the quality and clarity of Board papers, information management, Board effectiveness and stakeholder experience.
• Build strong relationships with Directors, Executives and key stakeholders, becoming a trusted support to the Board and helping drive effective governance outcomes.
• Support the Board's oversight of risk management and governance frameworks, and assist with corporate legal and governance matters as required.
• Assist with maintaining compliance with the Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Support corporate secretarial obligations across global entities, ensuring statutory requirements are met and governance processes operate effectively.
• Support the delivery of key governance events, including the Annual General Meeting and governance reporting activities.
• Coordinate Board and Committee meetings, including scheduling, agenda management, preparation and distribution of papers, minute-taking and tracking action items.
• Provide support outside standard business hours when required to facilitate Board and governance activities.

What We're Looking For

• Background in law, governance, compliance, corporate administration, company secretarial support or a similar professional environment.
• Familiarity with corporate governance principles and an understanding of ASX-listed company requirements or similar regulatory frameworks.
• Experience supporting senior stakeholders, Boards, Committees, leadership teams or other governing bodies will be highly regarded.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility and trusted relationships with Directors, Executives and key stakeholders.
• A proactive and curious mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and the confidence to drive initiatives from concept through to implementation.
• Sound judgement, discretion and professionalism when handling confidential and commercially sensitive information.
• Qualifications in Law, Governance, Business or a related discipline will be highly regarded. Experience in a legal environment, and GIA and/or AICD membership will also be viewed favourably but are not essential.
