Job Purpose:Assist in managing and maintaining the company database by supporting data updates, ensuring accurate system entries, and adhering to regulatory standards. Also, to update company data, assisting in the coding process, and supporting the validation and testing of system changes.Job Description:1. Assist in updating the company database with the latest information, such as fraud comments, rating changes, and other necessary updates, ensuring that these updates are completed within two days across all systems.2. Ensure data is updated promptly, accurately, and consistently across all relevant platforms.3. Support the coding process by categorizing companies according to established tiering systems. Ensure accurate entries and assist in reviewing rejected entries to identify and correct errors.4. Regularly review and maintain coding documentation to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with evolving coding standards and business requirements.5. Assist in automating repetitive coding tasks, ensuring increased efficiency and reduced turnaround time for database updates. Continuously evaluate automation workflows for optimal performance.6. Assist in testing and validating updates made in the New T24 module, ensuring the changes are deployed correctly and function as intended across all systems.7. Execute the execution of updates in the company database, address discrepancies or issues as they arise, and ensure updates are accurate and fully implemented.8. Assist in reviewing and updating fraud-related information, ensuring that all fraud comments reflect the current risk profile of the companies and that the database remains up-to-date.9. Help monitor the company database for adherence to internal policies, CBE regulations, and compliance requirements, and ensure all updates meet the necessary standards and are in line with current regulatory practicesPolicies, Processes and Procedures10. Follow all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.Day- to-day operations11. Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the Process Governance & Support department to ensure continuity of work.Compliance12. Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLSQualifications & Experience· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.· 1–2 years maximum of experience in database management, data entry, or a related field.Skills· Strong attention to detail and ability to process large amounts of data accurately.· Basic understanding of database management systems and coding processes.· Knowledge of fraud management and risk compliance procedures.· Good communication and collaboration skills.· Computer literate.
