The Companion Diagnostic (CDx) Lead for Romania is a part of the Romania Oncology BU. This position reports to the Romania Oncology Healthcare Lead and is located in Bucharest.
The Companion Diagnostic (CDx) Lead for Romania will be responsible for localizing and implementing the project-related biomarker and CDx strategy in all present and future Indications, as well for conceiving and implementing Patient Programs and patient pathway optimization projects. CDx Lead will be driving strategic choices, adaptation, and local implementation of the CDx launch readiness and excellence plan according to market needs and requirements. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the CDx, translational medicine as well as Oncology field.
The Companion Diagnostic (CDx) Lead for Romania customize and implement, through appropriate leadership, direction and action, agreed global/regional biomarker and CDx strategies and commercialization plans and deliver implementation of pathway optimization strategy.
Key responsibilities:
Develop appropriate biomarker tactical plans that are suitable for all indications, including emerging biomarkers and technologies for new indications
Providing market with guidance on local implementation in alignment with the global and regional CDx teams
Acting as primary Point-of-Contact for the global and regional CDx teams to represent the voice of the Romanian market
Appropriately engaging with academic and external industry-based experts and providers in the market who are focusing on translational medicine and CDx deployment (scientists, oncologists, pathologists, lab technicians, pulmonologist, thoracic surgeons)
Coordinating Medical Education, training, and coaching activities for key stakeholders (pathologists, lab technicians)
Securing capacity and quality via appropriately establishing centers of excellence for biomarker testing and implementing biomarker testing initiatives including QC/QA programs
Taking the lead on monitoring of biomarker and CDx activities, coordination of data collection and interpretation
Develop and implement Patient Programs (both DxPPs and FPPs) according with BU strategy.
Participate in implementation of Patient Pathway Optimization Projects according with healthcare strategy.
Is responsible for the implementation, coordination and management of market access strategies and activities for the our Company portfolio in the assigned territory, as well as for the management of key accounts and optimization of the oncology patient pathway
Required Qualifications, Skills, & Experience:
Minimum: Healthcare education, Bachelor or University degree from accredited university, preferably Medical/ Veterinary Doctor, Dentist or Pharmacist.
Minimum: 10 years’ experience within Pharma, preferable in-depth knowledge and experience in biomarker implementation and in Oncology KOLs engagement
Experience in Account Management and Market Access
Ability to manage key external stakeholders, to influence without authority, and to create and carry out action plans in matrix cross-functional team structures
Exhibit strong leadership, problem solving, project planning, teamwork, analytical, and written/verbal communication skills
Excellent teamwork, relationship-building, and interpersonal communication skills
Fluent in conversational and written English.
