
The Compactor Repair Technician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, repairs, reconstruction, installation, modifications to all types of waste and recycling industry compactors and balers equipment.
Hiring Range: $27.00-$30.00/hour
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a clean driver’s license and previous experience with waste and recycling compaction equipment, and experience with components such as pumps, valves, cylinders, couplers, hydraulic controls, and hydraulic schematics.
Good listening, communication and problem-solving skills, proven commitment to work and a dedication to safety are required. Strong electrical diagnostic skills pertaining to electric over hydraulic compaction equipment, electrical schematics and drawings, and excellent welding and fabrication skills are necessary.
