Job Description

Woodfords Family Services is seeking a compassionate, organized, and qualified Site Coordinator to join our Community Supports Program! This is a full-time, hourly position offering a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.

The Site Coordinator plays a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of Expeditions, a Westbrook-based Community Supports program, while ensuring high-quality care is delivered to consumers and strong supervision and support is provided to direct care staff. This position focuses on supporting adults in community-based settings through individualized care, community integration, physical activity, employment and volunteer exploration, daily living skill development, increasing independence, and personal care support. The Site Coordinator works closely with the Program Manager and Director to ensure program operations promote meaningful access to community living.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the assigned program site to ensure effective, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Provide supervision, support, training, and oversight to Assistant Coordinator and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), including documentation review and workflow management.
  • Support hiring and onboarding activities for DSP staff in collaboration with program leadership.
  • Work closely with the Program Manager and Director to maintain operational compliance with federal, state, licensing, HCBS Settings Rule, and agency standards.
  • Provide support to staff working offsite in the commmunity through phone, Zoom, or in-person assistance based on situational needs.
  • Oversee staffing ratios, authorized service hours, and daily scheduling needs to support safe and effective program operations.
  • Support consumers in community integration, relationship development, leisure exploration, safety awareness, and individualized goal achievement.
  • Promote a person-centered environment while supporting consumers’ emotional, physical, and cognitive well-being.
  • Collaborate with families, service providers, and community partners to ensure coordinated support and strong working relationships.
  • Model professional behavior at all times, including ethical practice, communication, confidentiality, and respect for adult human rights.

Opportunity Details

  • Occasional remote work may be approved by the Program Director for intermittent needs and specific tasks

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • One to two years of leadership experience in a social service setting required
  • Experience working with children or adults required, experience supporting individuals with special needs preferred
  • Direct Support Professional (DSP) certification preferred
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to meet consumer transportation needs required
  • Flexibility to work with a variety of adult consumers in different locations based on program needs required
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with families, providers, staff, and community members required
  • Prior managerial or supervisory experience preferred
