Community Support Worker
Location: Fleetwood
Rate: £13.21 per hour (£14.21 weekends & Bank Holidays)
Contract: Full Time- 35 hour contract.

Working in rehabilitation is unlike any other support role. As a Community Support Worker, you’ll play a vital part in helping individuals rebuild their independence, confidence, and everyday life skills following a brain injury.
You’ll walk alongside people on their recovery journey — celebrating milestones, overcoming challenges, and supporting them to achieve their personal goals. Many of the individuals we support stay with us for around three months, giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a short but powerful time.

We are Brainkind, a national charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with brain injuries across the UK. Through our specialist rehabilitation services, we support individuals recovering from trauma, illness, and other neurological conditions to regain lost skills and live independently.

The Role
As a Support Worker, you will:
• Deliver person-centred support to adult residents
• Follow tailored rehabilitation plans to meet individual goals
• Support with daily living skills, including:
◦ Personal care and hygiene
◦ Meal preparation
◦ Exercise and wellbeing
◦ Social and leisure activities
• Encourage independence and build confidence
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes
