  • Supporting community initiatives, social outcomes and project engagement programs
  • Assisting with communications and stakeholder responses relating to emerging project issues when required.

About You

You will bring:

  • A qualification in communications, public relations, community engagement or a related discipline
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, community relations or communications, ideally within civil construction, infrastructure or a similar project environment
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to turn technical project information into clear, practical community messaging
  • Confidence engaging with community members, businesses and other stakeholders
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage several activities and priorities at once
  • The ability to work closely with construction and project teams in a fast moving delivery environment
  • A practical, solutions focused approach to stakeholder concerns and emerging issues
  • An understanding of major civil infrastructure projects and the impacts construction activities can have on surrounding communities
