About the Position
TheOutreach and Engagement Division is seeking aCSBGProgram Administrator to oversee Denver Human Services’ Community Services Block Grant (CSBG). CSBG is a federally funded anti-poverty program administered in partnership with the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA). The program supports community-based services that address the causes and conditions of poverty and help residents with low incomes achieve stability and self-sufficiency.
CSBG federal service areas include employment, education, income management, housing, emergency services, nutrition, linkages with other programs, self-sufficiency, and health. In Denver, CSBG funds are administered through partnerships with community-based subrecipients and guided by community needs assessment findings, the Community Action Plan, and the CSBG Advisory Board.
As theCSBGProgram Administrator, you will serve as the primary program lead for day-to-day CSBG administration. This role requires strong organization, clear communication, attention to detail, comfort interpreting program requirements, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines whilemaintainingaccuraterecords and documentation.
